A Bit About Dr. Erby
Dr. Adrienne Erby is a licensed professional counselor and a nationally certified counselor. She is committed to supporting clients in creating new ways of being as they grow, change, and navigate challenges-both old and new. She uses a collaborative, culture-centered approach informed by Narrative, Relational-Cultural, Cognitive, and Family Systems therapies to support and empower clients to live intentionally in ways that align with their vision and goals.
Dr. Erby has a range of experience addressing mental health, emotional, behavioral, and relational issues in counseling. She has practiced in college counseling centers, school-based mental health, agency, in-home, hospice, and private/group practice settings. She holds the Ph.D. in Counseling with a Multicultural Counseling cognate from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte and the M.S. in Community Counseling from Oklahoma State University.
Dr. Erby is also counselor educator and enjoys training the next generation of counselors. Collectively, her work focuses on promoting individual, relational, and community health and wellness, specifically in minoritized communities. She has been an active member in the American Counseling Association, Association for Adult Development and Aging, Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development, and the Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities.
