WillaMarie Jackson

WillaMarie Jackson is licensed as a Professional Counselor, School Counselor, and as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. Her clinical background includes working with persons of all ages both individually and within psycho-educational groups and presenting on topics such as identifying and addressing mental health concerns, institutional and organizational risk management, mediation and conflict resolution, academic/career planning, and LGBTQ and other diverse perspectives.  She is passionate about helping create a healing environment for children, adolescents, and adults as they walk through the therapeutic process.

Providing seven years of service in secondary education and more than a decade in Higher Education (Residence Life, Student Affairs, and Academic Affairs) she enjoys empowering individuals toward living their best selves. WillaMarie is committed to lifelong learning and approaches therapy with empathy, non-judgment, and genuine care for her clients' well-being.  She earned her Master’s Degrees from Muskingum University (Adult Education) and Ohio University (Mental Health/Rehabilitation/School Counseling) along with completing her BA in Political Science from Presbyterian College.  Through a strengths-based/client-centered approach, she empowers individuals to overcome obstacles, cultivate self-awareness, and build the skills needed to thrive.
