New Service
Qualified Mental Health Paraprofessionals (QMHPs) - often referred to as Qualified Mental Health Specialists (QMHS)- play a crucial role in delivering community-based mental health services. Their responsibilities include assisting clients with daily living skills, providing psycho education, supporting therapeutic activities under supervision, and linking individuals to community resources. These professionals operate under the supervision of licensed mental health practitioners and are integral to the state's behavioral system.
