Dr. Mary-Anne M.Joseph

Mary-Anne M. Joseph is licensed as a Professional Counselor. Her clinical background includes working with persons of all ages both individually and as a couple. She is passionate about helping create a safe environment for children, adolescents, and adults to explore and address their therapeutic needs. 

 

With more than a decade of experience in Higher Education, she values empowering people to enhance their quality of life through a person centered and cognitive behavioral approach to counseling.  Mary-Anne maintains a dedication to a therapeutic experience rich in empathy, understanding, support, education, and unconditional positive regard. She earned her Doctorate Degree from Ohio University (Counselor Education & Supervision), Masters’ Degree from Winston Salem State University (Rehabilitation Counseling) and Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Mass Communication from Winston Salem State University. Her hobbies include spending time with family, watching movies, reading books, painting, and exploring new places.
